Former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi was in action for 90 minutes as Trabzonspor fell to a 1-0 away defeat against Spanish club Getafe in their Europa League clash on Thursday, reports Completesports.com.
It was the first time Mikel will play a full game in the competition for Trabzonspor.
Anthony Nwaekeme also started the game at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez and was replaced by Firatcan Uzum seven minutes from time.
Angel scored the decisive goal for Trabzonspor in the 18th minute of the encounter.
At the Ibrox Stadium, Joe Aribo played for eight minutes in Glasgow Rangers 1-0 home win against Dutch club, , Feyenoord.
Aribo took the place of Glen Camara eight minutes from time.
Nigerian-born forward, Seyi Ojo scored the winning goal for the home team in the 23rd minute.
Samuel Adegbenro was unable to save his Norwegian club, Rosenborg from defeat against LASK of Austria in their Group D encounter.
Adegbenro featured for 90 minutes in the game.
His compatriot, Babajide David Akintola was an unused substitute in the game.

In another Europa League game, Mikel Agu was in action for 70 minutes as his Portuguese club, Vitoria Guimaraes lost 2-0 to Standard Liege of Belgium.
Agu was replaced by Pepe Rodrigues 20 minutes from time.
AS Roma defeated Istanbul Basaksehir 4-0 at the Stadio Olimpico with U23 Eagles captain, Azubuike Okechukwu replacing Danijel Aleksic in the 69th minute.
