Nigerian politician and businessman, Ned Nwoko has raised the alarm over an alleged assassination attempt on his life and that of his youngest wife, Regina Daniels.
Ned made this known at a press conference on Thursday, Feb 11, in Abuja, organized alongside his wife Regina.
According to the former House of Reps member, the plot was leaked by an inmate in Kuje Prison, Abuja who overheard other prisoners talking about the attempt on his life.
Prince Ned Nwoko who said he has alerted the police also said that it may have been connected to his plan to construct a University on a piece of land in Delta State, and also a disagreement involving who the next king of his town would be.
The billionaire added that the inmate in question died mysteriously after getting series of threats following his release from prison.
“I then reported the matter to the police and Department of State Security (DSS) and they went and interviewed the inmates involved. The inmates mentioned the name of one businessman who deals in the oil and gas sector as the master minder,” Ned added.
