Nigerian rapper, Azeez Fashola also known as Naira Marley was slated to have a Valentine’s Day concert in Cameroon on the 14th of February, but the concert did not hold.
According to show promoter, Prince Enobi in a statement, the concert got cancelled not once, but twice.
Enobi explained that the event which was initially scheduled to hold in the Buea region was moved to Limbe but was unable to hold due to refusal from local authorities.
“It’s been days and hours of back and forth to put together this amazing Valentine Experience with African Superstar, Naira Marley.
Almost 80% tickets have been SOLD OUT but for reasons beyond our control, we can’t have the concert. We apologize to all Naira Marley Fans who have bought tickets to attend this event which has been cancelled twice.”
Following the cancellation, Naira Marley tendered an apology to fans who had bought tickets and looked forward to his performance.
He also assured fans of that the event will be rescheduled and the new date as well as time will be communicated.
